You saw the interview last week on the Thrasher site that Joe Hammeke did with the 1031 team. Well we caught up with him while he was on the tour and asked a few of our own.
LC: How long you been on this trip?
JH: About a week.
LC: What the shitiest thing about this trip?
JH: Getting up to early.
LC: Kristian been running you ragged?
JH: Not in a bad way. He keeps us busy.
LC: Have you seen Kristian drink a beer yet?
JH: No, I don’t think he ever has. That’s good though cause we have a driver.
LC: What the sickest trick you’ve seen on this trip? Or is it a secret?
JH: No, Greg harbour did a foot plant down in Akron at North High, we’ll leave it at that.
LC: You plan on coming back to Cleveland anytime soon?
JH: I don’t know. I haven’t been here in eight years. A freind of mine just spent eight years in jail down in Grafton, got out two weeks ago and now he’s pissed at me cause i’m in Cleveland and he’s not.
LC: Any last comments about the trip?
JH: Ohio’s not as bad as you think it would be.
