    meth will take over a persons body, mind and soul. it is a dangerous filthy drug and unfortunately, it is very cheap compared to coke and has a much bigger bang. it is incredibly hard to offer help to someone who is not willing to cooperate but it might be best to try some sort of intervention before the dependency builds. meth is not something to play around with. it is incredibly dangerous. protect yourselves from him because it doesnt take a long time for these changes to happen. I did it once too, and the comedown was one of the worst i ever had. I did a lot of coke, then moved onto meth once, and even though it was only once I wanted more REALLY bad. Luckily, I stayed away. I don think any one is a lost cause, I think it be a lot harder if he done it more than once though. It a sticky situation because as a former addict, I know that when people got in my face about drugs I would just push away more. The only real advice I can give you is to let him know that people around him care for him. Not judging, but that people are there, always, and that they care about what happens to him. Its sort of a value thing, everyone needs to feel like they matter and they affect things around them. You can never really make him stop, but you can make him think about the people around him, and possibly want to better himself. I sorry there is no real cure, things would be way more awesome if there was. I wish you guys the best of luck!
