You may think we at Lowcard “beef” with other magazines, but the truth is we never do. We respect Thrasher’s heritage status, Skate Jawn’s DIY approach, Closer’s polished pages, and every other zine and bit of reading material in between. But this web editor’s love for Transworld and their videos is unparalleled to anything else (except maybe Alien Workshop videos). Former Glory, a quality video offering from North Carolina, harkens back to Transworld in a way I can only describe as “damn near perfect.”
And most importantly featuring some heavy rippers who Lowcard loves a lot. We have a lot of respect for everything happening in North Carolina right now, so happy to see Tarheel territory outputting so much killer skating. From their DIYs in the outer limits, to their well known street spots – Former Glory is not a video to sleep on.
