There are certain filmers who just make great videos, no questions asked. Kevin Calderwood is 100% that bitch. His long running position as one San Jose’s finest lensmen (he had clips in fucking Bag of Suck), who also opts out for the VX1000 over an HVX puts him in a very unique category. As a result, we get videos like Torch Song, a 30 minute VX epic with full parts from some of SJ’s best rippers. Joey Guevara gets the torch lit, Caswell Berry comes out of the woodwork to deliver some great skating, and Brandon Nguyen closes it out with some serious bangers down in Sharks territory. Torch Song just came to YouTube about a week ago, and we had to lend our hand in getting it out into the world so everyone could see what San Jose is truly all about.
