did you notice my back towards your establishment, due to the act of mine leaving? You could even go so far as to say that I was kicking myself out of your bar. Although, I did need a beer for the stroll to the next bar, and for that I thank you. But this is the same as telling someone they’re fired right after they’ve told you “I quit.”
